The Therapeutic Centre Heimerer

The Therapeutic Centre Heimerer (QTH) is a chain of schools and centers based in Germany and extending to south-eastern Europe. A center that has integrated a multidisciplinary team that combines clinical practices, education, and research at regional, national, and international levels. QTH’s model of integrated care is one of a multidisciplinary practice that promotes team-oriented patient care and peer accountability, a supportive infrastructure allowing experts and other caregivers to excel at clinical work, and an expert-led governance structure promoting a patient-centered approach culture.

 

QTH enables a learning environment in which different professionals share with each other their knowledge, expertise, and experiences seeking to continuously improve the quality of the healthcare services.

 

The staff consists of five (5) international and twenty-five (25) national experts of different scientific disciplines. So far, we have been able to establish a strong foundation, as such we have clients from all around the world, including USA, UK, Canada, Switzerland, France, and so forth.

 

Besides these services, we also offer professional development opportunities in terms of trainings, workshops, seminars, etc., for other professionals, by well-known experts, who are part of the largest Autism Organizations in the world, which includes up to 75 world- known experts. So far, we have managed to organize three (3) International Autism Conferences.

 

Together with the World Autism Organization and Autism Medical Institute (Turkey), we plan to organize eleven (11) conferences in total, with the mission of raising awareness in Balkan countries when it comes to autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the vitality of the multidisciplinary approach. As of currently, the Centre is involved in five (5) international projects, established through cooperation with countries such as the USA, UK, Netherlands, Austria, and Germany.

World in Pictures

Association, which brought together a young multidisciplinary team, a team of enthusiastic, motivated experts in the field of education and rehabilitation, speech therapy, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and social pedagogy. In their work, they use methods that are widely accepted, and some of them evidence-based such as the ABA method. Other methods that they use in their work are Pecs, Teacch, Tomatis, and Sensory Integration.

 

The association “World in Pictures” also provides big support to parents, caregivers, and other people who are actively involved in child care. Support is provided in the form of home visits, education of parents/caregivers, provide psychosocial assistance, and provide adequate and timely guidance for better protection and socialization of children.

 

The association „World in Pictures” is based on volunteer work and young professionals involved in the work act as a resource of the local community and strive to encourage, involve, and engage all potentials of the general public in addressing the problems of people with ASD and protection of their rights guaranteed by international conventions, Constitution and BiH laws, all with the aim of finding adequate measures to establish and build a system of early detection, diagnosis and monitoring of children on the autism spectrum. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country in developing phase, there are stereotypes related to many fields and people do not talk so much about them.

 

Our vision is to break down such stereotypes, raise public awareness and follow the world standard in working with children with ASD.

AutisMedi

Autism Medical Institute (AutisMedi) is an international non- governmental and non-profit organization that provides a multidisciplinary approach to Autism Spectrum and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

 

We are a group of professionals and parents from Medicine, Special Education, Music, Sports, Law, Social Policies, Media, and Business who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with beginners in this field. There are 65 valuable people on our team and Scientific Advisory Board, representing 23 countries from 5 continents.

 

Since 2015 AutisMedi has supported many scientific and social activity with Non-Governmental or Governmental Institutions, Federations, Associations, Foundations, and other non-profit NG organizations that works for children with special needs.

 

We provide local and international meetings, congresses, conferences, seminars, workshops, and advanced training courses for physicians and other professionals.
